Oh summertime!

I have always dreamed of owning adirondack chairs and this spring my dream finally came true thanks to the contributions from many for my birthday :) Living in a cute, little old home made me think yellow would be perfect. Thanks Cost Plus for carrying such a lovely chair for me to lounge in in my backyard!

I recently experienced a patient coming into triage and informing me she believed her water had broken. One of the first questions I have to ask every patient is whether or not they have had sexual intercourse in the last 24 hours. This patient informed me that they had sex at 2 am that morning and that is when she believed her water had broken. This automatically made me jump to one conclusion...let me let you in on a basic labor & delivery fact:

I love being surrounded by pregnant women in my life, especially considering that most recently it was one of my favorite people and "sister". This is just a small preview of my time in San Diego.

I cannot be any more proud or happy for Glendo's return. I love that I can now call Glendon on his cell phone and know he is only a four hour drive away. I am thrilled to have my favorite brother and friend back in the United States!!!!

Christmas in Boise...In January

Well after much convincing over Christmas in San Diego, I have finally taken the time to post some pictures of my Christmas decor in Boise. I must say I absolutely love the Christmas decorations we have collected, mainly consisting of lime green and hot pink!!!!

Gotta make a statement... A bold one!

Well it was time to finally breakdown and make a big purchase in my life. I have been dealing with a dilemma of having no closed toe shoes to wear when it starts to cool down here other than tennis shoes or dressy boots. I needed and "in-between" shoe that could be nice looking, but not too dressy. Well let me tell you I had my eye on a very special pair of shoes for some time now and last week I bit the bullet and spent the fortune to buy them. Apparently they are a hot item here because most stores did not have them in stock. I found a store that would ship them to my house for free and believe me, I was tracking their status every day on the UPS website. Well Wednesday was the day and I knew to expect them between 9 am and 7 pm. I sat on the couch anxiously awaiting the UPS man, but apparently he chose to come while I was gone to Target for the last hour of the day. Don't worry I wore these beauties all during the CMA awards. I love them and know they will turn many heads on the streets this winter.

I introduce to you my new, very BOLD statement...

These lovely leopard print danskos may even make it to work with me occasionally to dress up my blue scrubs.

Best part about them is that they can be worn with black or brown!!!!
